Undergraduate Housing Summer Contract Extension/Storage Form

By submitting this request, you will agree to the following terms:

1. Students currently not residing in their Fall 2009 housing assignments MUST be moved into their fall housing assignment by 8:00 a.m., Monday, August 24, 2009.
2. If a student's personal belongings are stored in a room that is not the student's fall housing assignment, the Housing Office reserves the right to remove such items from the room and charge the student's personal account for labor fees to remove storage items.
3. Student agrees that the special storage period in the fall housing assignment will be provided on a space available basis only.  If the student's fall housing assignment is in use by another summer resident, the summer resident is under no obligation to provide use of the room or to change moving plans to accommodate the fall resident's storage of personal belongings.  The Housing Office does not guarantee the use of the fall room for personal storage.  Furthermore, resident is fully responsible and assumes all risk for items stored in facilities owned by the Institute.  At no time is the Housing Office responsible to replace or reimburse resident for any lost or stolen items.
4. Some students may be delayed from moving/storage due to the use of rooms by summer programs. In such an event, the Housing Office will attempt to find alternate arrangements to the best of their abilities.
5. Any occupancy dates during this period will be charged at the regular fall term rates (prorated to the nearest day).  Please refer to the appropriate contract for term rates.
