Welcome to Caltech! We provide a variety of on-campus housing options available to incoming graduate students. All new graduate students are guaranteed housing for the first academic year and can choose a living experience that best fits their needs. With the increase of Graduate Student enrollment about 40% of Caltech's graduate student population lives in campus housing. New student housing application will be available Monday, April 15, 2024 and the deadline to apply is, Tuesday, April 30, 2024. Earliest Summer move in date if the Graduate Office has approved Early Arrival and there is space available.

If Resident terminates their contract with fifteen (15) days written notice to Housing Office without cause or for any cause other than a permissible cause as set forth in the grad contract, there is a fee of $350.00
