Housing application will be available Tuesday, April 15, 2025 and must be submitted by Wednesday, April 30, 2025.
Welcome to Caltech! We provide a variety of on-campus housing options available to incoming graduate students. All new graduate students are guaranteed housing for the first academic year and can choose a living experience that best fits their needs. With the increase of Graduate Student enrollment about 40% of Caltech's graduate student population lives in campus housing. New student housing application will be available Tuesday, April 15, 2025 and the deadline to apply is, Wednesday, April 30, 2025. Important Dates - 2025
| April 15 | 2025-2026 New Student Housing Application goes live |

| April 30 | Deadline to submit 2025-2026 graduate housing application |
| June 8 | Last day to cancel 2025-2026 housing reservation without a penalty fee |
| June 23 | Earliest Summer move in date if the Graduate Office has approved Early Arrival and there is space available. |
| June 9 – Aug. 31 | There will be a $200.00 fee to cancel 2025-2026 housing reservation |
| July 3 | Housing Office will be closing at 2:00pm |
| July 4 | Housing Office will be closed for an Institute holiday |
| August 29 | Housing Office will be closing at 2:00pm |
| Sept. 1 | Housing Office will be closed for an Institute holiday |
| Sept. 2 | Start of 2025-2026 housing contract |
| After Sept. 1 | If Resident terminates their contract with fifteen (15) days written notice to Housing Office without cause or for any cause other than a permissible cause as set forth in the grad contract, there is a fee of $350.00 |
