The Student Housing office will not be performing routine maintenance during the winter break. Office closed at 2:00pm Tuesday, December 23, 2025 and will reopen on Monday, January 5, 2026.
In the event of maintenance emergencies that need immediate attention (plumbing leaks/clogs, gas leaks, broken locks) call the Service Center at 626-395-4717 and press 9 to be connected to an on-duty facilities operator. Central Plant will have service personnel available for emergency dispatch.

After Hours Central Plant Requests
If submitting a request after our Housing business hours and need an immediate response, please contact the Caltech Central Plant Staff by calling (626)395-4717.
Central Plant staff is available after hours, weekends and Holidays for emergency plumbing repairs such as clogs, overflows and leaks. Power outages and gas leaks should also be called in for immediate repairs, all other requests can be submitted online and will be addressed on the next business day by Housing Maintenance.
